NOR-WAY's routes have many departures throughout the Christmas season. We travel across Southern Norway, and there are plenty of travel options.
On the bus, you can relax while our drivers safely take you to your destination.
Customize your own journey
When travelling by NOR-WAY buses, you have the opportunity to choose how your journey should look like.
If you choose to book 'Sit alone' along with your ticket, you can secure an entire double seat for yourself during the trip. On many routes, it's also possible to book 'Sit in front,' which guarantees you a seat at the front of the bus.
On some routes, such as Kystbussen and Haukeliekspressen, you can choose a panoramic seat or a comfort seat for a more exciting and comfortable journey.
If you are traveling with small children and need a child seat, you can also book it along with your ticket. This is free, but must be booked so that we can reserve the seat for your child.
All seat choices are made in the Additional Products step when you book your ticket.
Send your packages by bus
Are you late with Christmas package delivery, or do you have multiple packages going to the same destination? On our buses, you can send packages without traveling yourself. The packages travel with the bus and arrive quickly, on the same day you sent them. All we ask is that you pack and label the shipment well, and that the recipient is at the bus stop when it arrives.
If you send the package from the first stop on the route, you only need to show up and pay directly to the driver. If it should be picked up along the route, we recommend contacting us in advance.
Extra baggage
Many people bring a lot of luggage during Christmas. Included in all NOR-WAY tickets, you can bring two baggage units that will be placed in the luggage space under the bus. This can also include well-packed skis, a stroller, etc.
If you want to bring more than 2 pieces of luggage, you can book Extra Baggage. For larger items, it is also possible to book Special Baggage. Even a bicycle can be brought on the bus journey, if you book it in advance.
All types of baggage beyond two standard units are booked under Additional Products when you buy your ticket.
Book early for the best price and guaranteed space
On NOR-WAY routes, prices and demand often vary from departure to departure. Especially during the Christmas season, many people are traveling, and we may sell out at certain times. If you decide to travel and book your ticket early, you can find tickets at a lower price than if you book shortly before departure. This also guarantees you a seat on the departure you want. Search in the journey planner and find the trip that suits you best!
