Lean back whilst travelling on the Fjord Express and enjoy a journey through authentic Western Norwegian nature. The bus travels between Bergen and Førde, with stops in Oppedal, Lavik, and Vadheim.
From the bus window, you'll experience a diverse landscape. You can admire the mighty mountains, glaciers, fjords, and coastline of Western Norway. In Bergen, you can end your journey at the bus station, the Bergen airport or at the hospital. In Førde you will be close to the University College, hospital and city centre.

Skyss Youth Ticket/Period Ticket Vestland ↓
With a valid 30-day, 180-day period ticket, or a 30-day youth ticket in the Skyss app, you can travel freely in the relevant zones on Fjordekspressen. Tickets purchased in the Skyss app do not guarantee a seat on the bus, but you can reserve a seat for a fee of NOK 29.
For a seat reservation, use the discount code in the travel search:
- For seat reservation with a 30-day youth ticket, use the discount code in the travel search: ungvest
- For seat reservation with a period card, use the discount code in the travel search: periodevest
Please note that you must present a valid period ticket when boarding.
If you have a period ticket for parts of the journey, you must purchase an online ticket for the remaining part of your journey. You must also make a reservation for the section covered by your valid period ticket to guarantee a seat.
Note that Skyss tickets cannot be used on the stretch between Bergen bus station and Knarvik. A separate ticket must be purchased for this stretch.
Travelling to Haukeland Hospital and Bergen Airport ↓
Now you can travel by Fjordekspressen all the way to Haukeland Hospital and Bergen Airport, Flesland.
Haukeland Hospital
Fjordekspressen now offers four corresponding departures between Bergen Bus Station and Haukeland Hospital every weekday. This allows you to arrive at the hospital safely and easily for appointments.
A separate minibus stops at the same platform as Fjordekspressen, making it easy to transfer buses upon your arrival in Bergen. The drivers will also assist those who require it.
Departures are scheduled so that those with appointments at the hospital between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM can travel round trip with the bus on the same day.

Bergen Airport (Bergen lufthavn), Flesland
Several Fjordekspressen departures now start and end at Bergen Airport. This allows you to travel directly to the airport without transfers.
