Fjordekspressen is available with updated departures, times and tickets up to and including 31/12 2020.

Local rates and tickets

When you are travelling in Hordaland county, between Bergen–Ostereidet–Matre–Haugsvær, you will receive local rates by prepaying in the Skyss app.

On the Fjordekspressen you can either use a single ticket (including the Skyss Ticket app), an Ungdomsbillett (Youth ticket) or a valid Period ticket. In county crossing journeys, it is only the Ungdomsbillett (Youth ticket) that can be used together with another ticket that is bought online or on the bus.

By buying a ticket on nor-way.no you get a seat reservation on the bus.

Travellers between Bergen-Knarvik can unfortunately not use the Fjordekspressen.

Want some food on the bus journey?

Fjordekspressen takes some breaks along the way where you can buy snacks and food.

From Bergen:

  • Førde Rutebilstasjon (approx. 20 min)
  • Stryn Rutebilstasjon (approx. 25 min)
  • Otta Cirkle K (approx. 45 min)

From Trondheim:

  • Otta Cirkle K (approx. 40 min)
  • Stryn Rutebilstasjon (approx. 14 min)
  • Førde Rutebilstasjon (approx. 15 min)

Traveltime between Bergen and Trondheim: ca. 14 hours

The travel time includes the ferry between Lavik–Oppedal, as well as breaks at Førde rutebilstasjon, Stryn rutebilstasjon and Otta Cirkle K.
