Make a booking in advance
If you buy your ticket online before departure, you are guaranteed a seat on the bus. Purchasing your ticket in advance will often be cheaper than buying a ticket on board the bus.
Your ticket can be purchased on nor-way.no or in the NOR-WAY app. If you have created a profile and log in before booking your ticket, you will have the opportunity to modify your booking up to 1 hour before departure.
With a booking made whilst logged in, your ticket will be available on Your page or in the app. You can then easily retrieve it when boarding the bus and show the ticket to the driver.
Discounted tickets with booking in advance
The ticket prices on nor-way.no and in the app can vary from departure to departure. For many departures, there are a number of cheaper tickets available if you book early. By being early, you have the opportunity to save money on your journey.
If you buy a ticket on board the bus, with a card or cash, the ticket often costs more. This will vary depending on the route you are travelling with.
Payment options for the ticket
On nor-way.no and in the app, you can pay with Vipps or card (Visa, Mastercard and Amex).
It is also possible to pay with a card on the bus. Note that you are not guaranteed a seat on the bus if you do not pre-book a ticket.
You can cancel your ticket and get a refund if you request this at least 24 hours before departure. Please submit a refund request through the designated form.
