New Bus Route Sogndal-Bergen

NOR-WAY Bus Express has started a new route going between Sogndal and Bergen. The route offers the opportunity to go on a day journey for appointments and meetings in Bergen.

Sognefjordekspressen

The route is started by NOR-WAY Bus Express and Tide Buss AS.

Starts and ends at Haukeland hospital

The route that has received the name Sognefjordekspressen, will start up a daily departure Monday-Friday and Sunday. With a morning departure from Sogndal and afternoon return from Bergen, it is possible to make a return travel Sogndal/Bergen in one day. The end stop in Bergen will be at Haukeland hospital. This makes it easy to go by express bus to hospital appointments.

Over summer, the route will be extended with a seasonal departure going between Bergen and Flåm.

- We know that this route means a lot to the inhabitants in Sogn who go to Bergen for various appointments. The offer is possibly most important to those who are going to Haukeland hospital. This is why we have made this the end and first stop, says Svein Helge Hauge in Tide Buss AS.

Local transfer

NOR-WAY is emphasising the importance of local transfer at local hubs such as Årdal, Lærdal, Aurland, Vik and Luster.

- We would like to secure a fully functional transport alternative between the two Western-Norwegian hubs.
