Autumn and winter in Beitostølen
The intimate atmosphere at Beitostolen and the short distance to the lifts, slopes and accommodation make Beitostølen a favorite place for families. The high altitude of 900 meters above sea level and the neighborhood of Jotunheimen, means that it always comes early snow in Beitostolen, and the ski season lasts until May. 

There are 2 major ski resorts, 6-seater express lift, tobogganing, mogul runs, good off-piste and over 320 km of excellent cross-country trails of all kinds. 

The ski area starts right in Beitostolen center and stretches up to 1,100 meters above sea level on South Knaushøgdi.
The ski pass is valid on both sides of the valley.

Children Activities
On Beitostolen is all set for your kids to get great outdoor experiences, and it's always something on Beitostolen.
Among the popular activities for young and older children, we can mention; dog sledding, children scooter, swimming, tobogganing, costume - and family skiing, rafting and skiing of all kinds.
Skiing skills will be practiced on in the children's area, playground or children's ski school.
